Hi guys! How are you doing? Hope you're great. Yes, I love writing story. Thank you @m-fdo for giving me this platform to share my engagement for the day through this contest. It has been long since I participated in a contest from this prestigious community. My day was colored with strength and stress, but I thank God, it ended with celebration that lightened my heart. Let me give you the details. Read on.

My day started on a brighter note immediately I woke up by 5 am. I sang few songs of praise and then thanked God, Almighty, for the gift of life and a new day. That set the tone for other engagements. I went straight to kitchen to prepare a light breakfast that I would eat for work. By 6.30 am, I was through.

I wanted to reach work place early so I could start my responsibility knowing that the day holds so much on my shoulder. By 7.30 am, I was already at school, preparing notes of lesson that I would teach the students after devotion. While I was writing notes on English, I was invited by the students to give a message at the devotion. It wasn't easy but I gave in.

After the devotion, I set out for classes. Because I didn't do much last week due to Mid-Term exam's week, I had to prepare for much work. I couldn't complete my work for the week. So I had to organize extra class for the students, especially the Senior Secondary Three students who are currently writing external exams. I had to do much in English Language, preparing them to get the best results.

The preparation for school graduation has heightened. I was appointed as the chairman of the planning committee. During break time, we took pictures of students in different classes for the magazine. This took us like an hour. To organize different classes for a shot, wasn't a child's play. But we succeeded.

I got back home by 4pm. I had forgotten that I was to be a Master of Ceremony on the occasion of brother's birthday. I was late because I remembered it when the occasion had started. When I had a call from the my elder brother that they were waiting for me, I was shocked that I thought I was on Friday. However, I quickly freshened up, dressed and then hurried to the venue. Before I got there, another person had taken over as an MC. It was late in the evening. I had to allow the person to continue.

I came back home late, around 9 pm. I was exhausted because I didn't have time to rest. After supper, I relaxed until I slept off. That was how my day went. It was hectic but replete with activities. At the close of the day, I felt a refreshed memory that will linger for a time.
