The Visionary Girl
The Visionary Girl
In Abaraka village there lived a very young and brilliant girl who loved imagining what her village would become in the future. She has vision to develop her village which while others in her village saw dusty roads and old buildings she saw beautiful gardens, clean streets, and a school filled with computers and books.
Every evening, Amirah would sit down under a big tree and draw her ideas on paper. A lot of people laughed at her when they saw her. She never gave up. She believed so much in every great change that begins with small ideas.
There came a day when a heavy drought affected Abaraka village. Things became so scarce in the village no water, and crops started dying. Remembering the design she had sketched some months ago, she suggested collecting rainwater in large tanks. She built a simple and large tank storage during the rainy season with the help of other villages.
Amirah idea worked better than anyone could have expected. Water became enough in the village for farming and daily use. All the people who once doubted her started to admire her determination and creativity.
Amirah didn't stop her vision as she grew older she continued chasing her dreams and visions. Amirah became the saviour of her village through her vision and determination.
