morning
First, I woke up at 7:00 AM, freshened up, and took a brief stroll along the floor's balcony. Then, at 8:30 AM—just as I do every day—I went downstairs to collect the newspapers from the table on the ground floor. After counting every page of the newspapers and noting down the day, date, and page count on them, I returned them to the common room downstairs. Since I am currently in charge of the mess duties and spend all my time staying within the hostel premises, I headed to the dining room shortly before 9:00 AM, where I served meals to everyone in the hostel. After having my own meal—rice—in the dining room, I returned to my room on the third floor. As using mobile phones is not permitted in that area, I was unable to take any photos of the food.
afternoon
Later that afternoon, after having a light snack of fruit, I headed out to procure some spices and essential provisions for the hostel kitchen. I was, of course, accompanied by a companion. We set out in the early afternoon, when the sun was blazing overhead. Nevertheless, we hailed a toto (e-rickshaw) and made our way to the Newganj Market in Bardhaman. Despite wandering through the market, we were unable to purchase any carrots; the vendors were demanding exorbitant prices due to a scarcity of supply. Next, after purchasing some spices from a spice shop, we visited several potato stalls. After much careful scrutiny and selection, we bought two sacks of potatoes. We then proceeded to an egg shop, where we purchased two crates of eggs and carried them by hand all the way to the Newganj crossing. We struggled to find a toto during that midday hour, and even when we did spot one, the drivers were demanding excessively high fares. After a lengthy search, we finally managed to secure a toto for a fare of 80 rupees and returned to our Sarojini Hostel. Later that evening, I assisted the cooks with the meal preparation by managing the supplies from the storeroom.
| Items | Quantity | Indian Rupee | steem |

night
After finishing my duties in the dining area, I took a bath in the evening. Then, shortly after 7:00 PM, I had a meal of rice accompanied by Alur Dum. Subsequently, at 8:30 PM, I went to the storeroom to write each person's border number on their respective eggs; then, at 9:00 PM, we served the food once again. Finally, having finished my own meal, I gathered the newspapers at 10:30 PM and sat down to settle the accounts for the various tasks of the day. Such was the experience of my busy day.
