My Visit to Tharparkar
About Tharparkar
A few days ago, I visited Tharparkar with my team. Tharparkar is a desert area in Sindh Pakistan near the border of India. It is known for its beautiful culture, simple lifestyle, and hardworking people.
What I Saw
During our visit, we saw many villages where people are still facing difficulties in their daily lives. Clean drinking water is a major challenge for many families. Some people have to travel long distances just to collect water for their homes.
Voices from Tharparkar
During the visit, a large number of people gathered there and they told us that we do not even have the basic necessities of life here.
Water is the biggest problem. To get water, one has to travel for many hours .
Everyone requested us to solve our water problem or even arrange for clean water somewhere.
We started the Solar Water Project in the community to help people get clean drinking water. First, we arranged all the required materials, including pipes and other equipment. The team then installed the pipes and connected the water system. Solar panels were also set up so that the system could run on solar energy without the need for electricity costs. After the installation was completed, clean water became available for the local people.
The community was very happy, especially women and children, as they no longer have to travel long distances to collect water. This project has made daily life much easier for many families.
All the people there were very happy, there was no limit to their happiness, all the young people, or children, were gathered there and there was happiness on their faces.
I am very happy that I could help with this project. The people in the village were very happy when they got clean water. They had been facing water problems for a long time. Seeing their smiles and hearing their kind words made me feel proud and thankful.
