The Diary Game: 15th May, 2026. Early to Work, Busy Day and Slow Network.
Good evening guys, welcome back to another episode of How My Day Was.
Today started early because I needed to cover up for going to work late yesterday. I got to the shop quickly, did my usual cleaning, and sat down to scroll through my phone. The network was really bad today. I had a lot to do, but I couldn’t get much done. I managed to chat on WhatsApp and use ChatGPT for some research on treasury bills, stocks, and shares. Just doing my small research here and there.
My student Destiny came in earlier than usual .... he was supposed to be in school but didn’t go today. Luckily, there was light when he arrived, so we got to work.
Business was slow for most of the week, but today things picked up. From the moment I finished cleaning, customers started coming in. Thank God for that.
We had a brief session on PowerPoint. It wasn’t a long class because there’s not much left to cover, so we finished it today. I gave him an assignment and classwork to do while I attended to clients.
After that, I was busy non-stop. Customers kept coming, so we kept getting interrupted. But by 3-4 PM, things slowed down again. I went back to my phone to continue research on treasury bills and other stuff, but the network was so bad I couldn’t do anything. At some point, I just dropped the phone and rested.
I stayed in the shop till 7 PM when my brother called to say we should leave.
I closed up, took a bike home, and ate garri, sugar, and groundnut for dinner since I didn’t have appetite for the swallow available.
That was it for my day.
