The school I will share today is Chandipasha Government High School. Chandipasha Government High School is located in Notun Bazar Elala, Nandail Upazila, Mymensingh District, Bangladesh. The school is located in the very center of Nandail Upazila and on the banks of the historic Narsunda River. The Narsunda River flows right past the school.

The history of Chandipasha Government School is very old. As far as I know from history, the school started its journey on January 1, 1915. At the beginning of its journey, the school was named Chandipasha Secondary School. Originally, the school received temporary approval from the University of Calcutta at that time. Later, on March 16, 1919, the school received permanent recognition. In 1920, 20 students of the first batch from this school participated in the matriculation or secondary examination. The school was declared a fully government school on March 19, 1991. Shahabuddin Ahmed, one of the most talented students and the then President of Bangladesh, played a special role in this government.

Since the school is a government school, the students have all kinds of facilities here. The school has two large fields. Where students get ample opportunities to play sports. Since the outdoor field is relatively large, football tournaments are organized there. Since the indoor field is small, cricket tournaments are organized there. The school has two multi-storey buildings. The classrooms are quite large and have adequate light and air, which makes the learning environment of the students more pleasant. The school has arranged labs for the students. Advanced technology equipment has been arranged so that the students of the science department can work in the lab with their hands. In addition, there is a computer lab to ensure digital education and a rich library to acquire knowledge.

The entire campus is 100% electrified. There is an alternative power or generator system so that studies are not affected even if there is load shedding during the summer or while using the lab. Since it is a government school, its security has been strengthened. The entire school is surrounded by a boundary wall. Arrangements have been made to prevent outsiders from entering during classes.

The Chandipasha Government School is located in a place where the Narasunda River flows by. The wind blowing over the river is refreshing. When I studied in school, during tiffin, my friends and I used to stand by the river and enjoy the view of the flowing river and the cool breeze at the same time. There are a lot of trees around and inside the school, which keep the campus cool and shady even in the intense heat. It keeps the environment fresh and serene.

Since the school is a little inside the main road, the traffic and noise of people passing by the school are not very noticeable. There is always a calm atmosphere inside the school during class time. Students can study properly. As a result, their studies are not disturbed much. Every year, the number of GPA-5 students from this school is also high. About 20% of students get a GPA-5 in the SSC exam every year, and the percentage drop rate is almost incomparable.

The school where I studied for six long years. I have countless memories in school. The following steps can be taken to make my beloved school more modern and suitable for the times:

• Make students interested in teaching practical work of advanced technology for technology-related knowledge. In this way, students can learn beyond the current stream of education.
• GPA and admission test can be taken in the selection of students. In this way, the best students can get a chance to get admitted to the school. Because if they pass the competitive examination, there will be a competition among the students.
• Every classroom can be converted into a smart classroom by bringing multimedia and projectors, so that students can easily understand any topic.
• Attendance sensors can be installed before entering the classroom in the school. This will facilitate counting the 100% attendance of the students. It will create interest among the students.
• Tours can be arranged during the post-exam periods. This will help them learn about the environment outside of studies.
• A fund can be formed with alumni. From this fund, talented students who are struggling to meet their education expenses can be helped.
• Residential hostels can be arranged. It will be most beneficial if residential hostels can be arranged for students who come from far and wide.

I have spent the best and most beautiful time of my life in school. Hundreds of memories are still stored in the school benches. I studied at the school from 2012 to 2018. The education system of the school is quite good. The teachers of the school are quite sincere towards the students. As a result, a cordial relationship is maintained between the students and the teachers. The learning environment of the school is also quite good. The environment around the school is also quite good.
