The Diary Game || 21.04.2026 || Thankful Day.
Hello Steemian friends,
I hope everyone is well. I am also well, Alhamdulillah. However, those who work outside must be suffering a little these days because the temperature is quite high, the heat has become really unbearable.

Like every day, I started my morning as usual. After finishing all the morning work, I reached the office at 9:30 am. The office work was going on normally, when suddenly I got a call from my boss I have to go to the head office today, for a one-to-one meeting with the business head. Since the head office is in Motijheel, I didn't waste any time and took the metro from Uttara. I reached Motijheel in a very short time and went straight to the city center. After the meeting, lunch was organized. Lunch was not just food, it was a kind of expression of love. Because my favorite dishes were kept there duck meat, white rice, dal, potato bharta, eggplant bharta.
The biggest thing even more than food is this arrangement has been made keeping my preferences in mind. For that, I am truly grateful to them.

After finishing the office, I came across an uncle's shop as soon as I went downstairs. He was making a very tasty snacks singara, chamucha, jilapi. My mouth watered when I saw it! I took two spoons, and my reporting boss gave me the bill. Once again, I express my gratitude to him.

Then I went to Baitul Mukarram National Mosque. I prayed Asr at 5 pm. The atmosphere of the mosque was so peaceful and charming that my heart was filled. Truly, Alhamdulillah, this moment was one of the best feelings of the day.

Then I boarded bus number 8 Gabtoli route to go to Shahbag. I took this route after almost 10 years! There was a regular service on this route from Bangla Motor to Paltan. I remembered the memories of those old days. Back then, the bus was very crowded, there was constant pushing and shoving. Now, due to the Metrorail, the crowd has reduced a bit, but local buses are local buses!

As we descended to Shahbagh, we came across the July 36 pillar, which is intertwined with the emotions and history of Bengalis.

As I crossed the overbridge, the twilight sun caught my eye. The sunlight shining through the trees was an extraordinary sight! To be honest, it's hard to believe that you can enjoy such beauty in the middle of the city, even if you don't have the sea.

I went to visit a friend at the PG hospital, but I didn't meet her. But I saw a flower there. It was incredibly beautiful! I took a picture and brought it back.
You can't understand how beautiful nature is unless you experience it.

Then I took the metro rail back to Uttara. I went to meet a senior brother there. We had a good time chatting and talking. He recently performed Umrah, and brought me some gifts like Tasbeeh, Athar, Hati and Miswak.
These are not just gifts, but are related to the Sunnah of the beloved Prophet, so the feeling was even more special.
Finally, I returned home, had dinner and fell asleep.

Today was really a beautiful day work, memories, worship, nature and love all combined into a “Thankful Day”.
