As a curious explorer, in today's blog, I am going to share with you a great experience of the traditional and ancient food culture of our city. Today, I will take you virtually to a very popular and traditional dessert store in Uttara, Dhaka, whose unearthly taste of sweets, perfect craftsmanship and heartwarming hospitality have really impressed me.

☞What kind of delicious zone did you review? Where is it located? Share a brief description of the delicious zone.

​Today I am going to review a very well-known and delicious Sweet Zone or sweet shop in Uttara, named "Noni Full Cream Sweets". This wonderful outlet is located in Garib-E-Newaz Avenue, Dhaka-1230, a busy and popular area of ​​Uttara. Nani is currently an elite and trusted name for sweets among the locals of Uttara. Its owner, Nani Ghosh, originally established this famous establishment to sustain the traditional sweet making business of his ancestors and give it a more modern look. Their glorious journey began with the establishment of this shop in Garib-e-Newaz Avenue, Uttara in 2014 and this was their first showroom. Later, due to the unique taste and reputation of their sweets, several more branches have been expanded in different sectors of Uttara, but they do not have any outlets or branches anywhere else outside Uttara. Due to their completely pure milk channa and perfect traditional cooking style, it has become the number one sweet brand in Uttara today.

☞What are the facilities like there? For example, dining facilities, cleanliness, delicious food, prices etc.

This outlet of Noni Sweets is fully air-conditioned for the comfortable experience of the customers, which gives a lot of relief as soon as you enter. However, there is no separate dining or seating arrangement for the customers to sit and eat sweets. There is a good arrangement to stand inside the showroom and taste the sweets instantly. Here, the sweets are mainly sold by weight or kg, but customers can also buy them by piece or per piece and enjoy them immediately.

Maintaining cleanliness is a very mandatory issue for any sweet shop. Because, the Department of Consumer Protection always closely monitors these food manufacturing and selling establishments and a large monetary fine is imposed for the slightest untidiness or dirty environment. However, since Noni Sweets is very popular locally and is a renowned brand, they always remain extremely vigilant about hygiene and cleanliness. The glass display counter inside the shop, the surrounding environment and the trays for keeping sweets are always kept shiny and tidy, which creates a great credibility in the minds of the customers.

Noni's sweets are very delicious, authentic and are widely popular throughout Uttara. As soon as you enter the showroom, you will see a collection of wonderful sweets. For example, their showcased 'Special Kaljam' with mawa, chocolate cake sandesh, 'Toffee Sandesh', 'Channar Malai Roll', strawberry sweets. Considering the quality and taste, the price of each sweet here is very reasonable and affordable. Also, biscuits made in their own bakery are available.

☞Discuss in detail the environmental situation of the delicious Zone.

The interior and exterior of Noni sweets is quite nice and neat. The interior lighting and wooden interior design give the shop a modern and premium look. The cash counter and payment section are quite neat. The best thing is that there are modern digital payment facilities here along with cash. For example, you can easily pay your bills by scanning the QR code or bKash. The shop staff wear gloves and a specific uniform and serve the food. However, in the afternoon or on holidays, there is a lot of crowd of customers, due to which there is a barrier in front of the sweets rack so that no one can touch the sweets. Overall, it is a nice and safe environment to have a quick sweet treat with family or friends or to take away.

☞What was your favorite delicious food you enjoyed there during your visit? Do you think the delicious area should take more steps to improve its customer service?

During my visit, my friends and I tasted their famous and traditional "Chhanar Malai Roll". While every other sweet from Noni is of the best quality, their 'Special Kalojam' and this 'Chhanar Malai Roll' are truly unique. The mawa coating on the top of this Chhanar Malai Roll and the soft and juicy texture inside are simply mouth-watering. The best part is that there is no artificial sugar or excess sweetener in it; only the natural sweetness of pure milk is present in it. And we chose it because of this healthy and perfect taste. Even those who do not like excess sweets will like this sweet.

Yes, I think this delicious zone should take some effective steps to improve customer service. Although the overall service and quality of food at Sweets is quite commendable, I would like to give two specific suggestions to make the customer service more dynamic and attractive:

​◑Since this is a very popular spot in Uttara and they sell sweets in pieces as well as in kilograms, it is very important to have a nice dining facility for the customers. If the seating space or dining area for the customers can be made on a large scale, then the customers coming from far and wide will be able to enjoy the real taste of the sweets in a more comfortable and peaceful manner.

​◑The taste of Noni sweets is actually the best, so its scope needs to be expanded further. They should take the initiative to open new branches or outlets in other important and populated areas of Dhaka city (such as Gulshan, Dhanmondi or Mirpur) outside Uttara. As a result, the sweet lovers of the entire Dhaka city will easily get the opportunity to enjoy the taste of this traditional and authentic sweet.
