I am very appreciative of participating in this contest organized by @jimiaera02 so that participants can pin their most interesting places on Steem-Atlas for the world to discover amazing places.

➤Where is it located? A brief history of the Education Zone, Founder, Established period?
The school that I visited is called Mount Carmel College, which is located in the Oloje area, Ilorin, Kwara. The school was established in the year 1962, after 2 years Nigeria gained independence. The founder of this college is Catholic, and their mission is to provide quality education to the students who receive knowledge from this college.
But right now, the state government has taken over the activities of this school post-civil war. The college was established for boys only, and the students involve both Christians and Muslims, with the majority being Muslims.
➤What are the facilities like there? For example, Classroom Facilities, Electricity , Security, Playground etc. (With Picture +Videos +Description)
They have facilities in the college where students make use of it in order to promote their educational activities. They have conducive classrooms where students stay, and their teachers come to meet them in order to teach them different subjects such as chemistry, physics, mathematics, and so on.
They also have a playing ground where students play football during their break time, as well as holding competitions where other schools are invited.
They have adequate toilet facilities where students and teachers make use of them during the school hours. From the image, we can see a black reserve tank which shows that water is available on the school premises, where students drink and make use of the water to flush away waste that comes out of the body.

➤Discuss in detail the environmental situation of the Education Zone.
The thing that I noticed about the schools is that some of their classrooms are dilapidated or collapsed, though they have been renovated by the current administration, which makes it more favourable for the students.
The students normally do boarding from the time the school was established, but right now they have closed that. In fact, some of the buildings have collapsed, and students come to school directly from their homes.

If the government can help them renovate those buildings and students resume these boarding activities, it would be easier and would have a positive impact on their lives with appropriate monitoring.
➤Based on your exploring experience, please suggest what steps can be taken to further improve their opportunities.
The steps they can take are to hire people and pay them in order to help cut all those weeds or bushes surrounding the school premises so that students can play around and be safe because of dangerous animals used to hide under the grass without notice.
Another thing is that all those teachers in the school premises should be fully renovated because some of these buildings do not have roofs, resulting in damage during heavy rain.
Since it is the government that manages the activities of this school, students must be encouraged to practice farming because they have enough space to do so in order to improve the livelihood of their students.
