Experience Of Conversion (17/04/2026)

The call to conversion becomes necessary because the scripture says in Isaiah 53:6 "All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned everyone to his own way; and the Lord has laid on him the iniquity of us all". Since man has gone astray and has continued in that manner and the cross is therefore his returning home. It is to turn completely from old life to a new life I. God by regeneration or new birth.

In Acts 3:19 "Repent ye therefore and be converted ". Conversation is a change from old order of lifestyle to a new one by the finished work at the cross. Jesus told Nicodemus, except a man be born with water and the spirit, he cannot enter God's kingdom . Not by righteousness which have ave correct have done, but according to His his mercy he saved us ,by the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Ghost".

In conversion , a change must take place, self will and other evil with which one is known must give way. It is simply obtained by hearing God's word(Romans 10:17) and it sinks into the heart causing conviction. At this stage one accepts trulye a sinner (psalm 32:5), then repentance sets in (Acts 26:20). Confession of sins follows (proverbs 28:13) and power to retain the experience as requested for(John 1:12).
