Assalamu Alaikum. how are you all. I hope everyone is safe by the grace of God. I am also fine Alhamdulillah.I am participating SC-S31-W1 // Bread Making// " Flat Bread ".Thank you @suboohi for this bread challenge.
✅ Make any flat bread (roti/paratha/tortilla)that you like with a detailed step-by-step procedure along with images.
 |
| Ingredients |
| Ingredients | Amount |
| Brown flour | 2 cups |
| Salt | to taste |
| Oil | 1/4 cup |
| Water | as needed |
Making process (roti and patota)
Step- 1
In a large bowl, I will take two cups of flour and add salt and soybean oil to it to taste. I will mix the salt and soybean oil well with the flour. I will mix it in such a way that it becomes like a lump when I make a fist with my hand.
Step- 2
Now I will make a dough by adding enough water to the flour. Don't add too much water at once, add little by little to make a smooth dough.
Step- 3

After making the dough, I cover it with a lid and leave it for about 20 to 30 minutes. If anyone wants, they can also cover the dough with a cotton cloth. After half an hour, I will cut off a small amount of dough from the dough and keep it aside. Now I will make small balls to make roti.
Step- 4
Now I will roll out the dough balls with a rolling pin so that all sides are the same thickness. I will make the rotis in the shape I want.I made all the round rotis in the same way.
Step- 5
Now I will put the pan to bake the bread. When the pan is hot, place the bread on it. I will bake it from both sides. My roti is ready to serve.
Step- 6

Now I spread 1 teaspoon of oil on the bread. Then I fold one side of the dough, then cover it with the other side. Now I fold it from the top and bottom to give it a square shape. I will make square parathas with this fold.
Step- 7

I will heat a pan on the stove and add the paratha. Then I will fry it in oil on both sides until it turns golden brown. My paratha is ready to serve.
✅ What type of bread do you make at your home. Have you tried flat bread before?
One of the foods we eat every day in our house is this roti. I always make brown flour roti in my house. I mostly make brown flour roti for breakfast and dinner. But sometimes I make paratha according to the needs of my family members. I use brown flour to make this paratha. I prefer this red flour roti more than flour. I have made flat roti many times before. Making flat roti is relatively easy and it is quite beneficial for our health. Eating oil paratha every day is not suitable for our health. Moreover, making paratha has some hassle, so roti is my most favorite food in the daily food list.
