Hello steemians

Greetings to you valuable moderator of this spectacular contest and also to my fellow steemian whom have made up tike to participate in the contest as well, so that we would be able to learn and witness the Wonderful piece of art from each and everyone one of us.

For this contest I have here a sketch of my pastor which I would love to share with y'all.... A man of wisdom and discipline, that's as much I would say about him but he's also a man blessed by God and to many and more to come a blessing. I hope this little price of art I bring will find pleasantry at your sight as well... Though in this contest I'll be able to learn few things from my fellow steemtians too.

Alright then let's get the sketching started.....

MATERIALS

Pencil
Eraser
Sharpener
Paper.

PROCEDURE

STEP1:

I started by drawing the eye first by doing that I drew an oval shape, then I drew a circle in it, then I drew a curved line above and three of it below it, then I drew the wrinkles beside his eye which looks like whiskers though, after which I shaded the eye brow and then drew a curvy line downwards which would lead me to draw the nose, then I drew the other eye and shaded the brow as well.

STEP2:

After the first process of drawing....... I moved over to drawing the the rear part of the face which consisted of the mouth, chin and so on.... So I shaded his little moustache then at the end I drew a curved line to show the beginning of his facial expression then I drew his top lip which looks like an elongated top of a heart shape then I drew the teeth below it then I drew the bottom lip after which I drew the chin and the facial design on his that makes the structure of his chin.

STEP3:

After I had to draw the neck which was opposite the jawline, then I drew another line in-between the neck and jawline upwards which would be the point where the ear would be drawn and the beginning of his hair line would start.....then I continued drawing his hair line upwards and then made a v-like shape at the point of his fore head after that I continued down the other side of his face where I drew his left eye......thereby make the full structure of his face. After that I drew the collar of the cloth he wore, where one looked liked a right-angle triangle and the other one an awkward looking triangle, then I drew the tie as well and the coat he wore over the shirt.

STEP4:

After all the process I had to add a little finishing touch so that it might look realistic, this is where I brought my pencil coloring into play... Coloring every inch and crook where the black coloration was supposed to be I coloured it till I was done and everything came out as expected though🥹.
