STEEM EVM Update: 10 Validators, Welcoming @steem-space & Network Stability

The Steem Virtual Machine (SVM) continues to grow in strength and decentralization. Today, I am thrilled to welcome @steem-space from the Steem Space Community as our 10th validator. This addition marks a significant milestone in our journey toward a robust, community-driven Layer-2 solution.

Network Health: 120K+ Blocks with Zero Glitches
The SVM has officially crossed 120,000 blocks produced. What makes this milestone even more impressive is that it has been achieved with zero glitches or chain halts. The network has maintained consistent uptime and stable block production throughout its entire history.
Current Network Stats:
- Total Blocks Produced: 120,000+
- Total Transactions: 586
- Failed Transactions: 0 (100% success rate on EVM execution)
- Registered Addresses: 75+
- Average Block Time: ~6.7 seconds
- Average Gas Price: 1.1 gwei
Sherpa Protocol Activity: sUSD Supply Growth
The DeFi ecosystem on SVM is also seeing steady growth. The sUSD stablecoin supply has reached 6,660 sUSD within the test environment. This indicates that users are actively testing the lending and borrowing features of the Sherpa Protocol.

📢 Call for Validators: Join Before August 1st
We are still actively seeking more community members to run validator nodes.
💰 Genesis Reward: 5M SHERPA Pool
A dedicated bucket of 5,000,000 SHERPA tokens will be distributed equally among all validators who join and remain active prior to August 1, 2026.
With 10 validators currently on board, there is still room for more participants to share in this reward and help secure the network. If you have the technical resources, now is the time to join.
