Turning Pain Into Purpose
In our contemporary world where the struggle for academic excellence, financial stability and maintaining relationship. We have encountered stress as a result, and this is overwhelming. First of all, stress is normal, it shows that we are humans. However, we should be concerned about our emotional wellbeing, social wellbeing, and psychological wellbeing.
One of the ways of maintaining stress is:
a. Time management: Many of us struggle with stress, not because we have a lot of activities but because improper planning. Organizing task, creating schedule, setting priorities and breaking large job to smaller parts, helps in creating effectiveness and efficiency.
b. Maintaining healthy lifestyle: It is always encouraged to engage in regular exercise, good food and rest. These are the basics of managing stress. Many people give reasons as to why they don't exercise, because they can't afford the GYM training fee. The least exercise one can engage in without hitting the GYM is walking. The physical movement of the legs, helps in releasing tension.
c. Emotional expression: This is involves the flow of feelings about a particular thing. The expression of emotion. Many people often hide their feelings and emotion and this increases anxiety. When one hurts you, you kindly and politely to avoid chaos, you express your emotions. There is a saying that "A close mouth is a close destiny" this does not only apply t9 spirituality, but to general lifestyle. Also writing books helps to express emotions.
d. Positive mindset: Developing a positive mindset, helps in managing stress. Focusing on the bright side of life and letting go of the ad side helps in human life.
e. Setting boundaries: People at times do things not because they want to, but because of the fear of disappointing people. Saying NO to some things is normal. Accumulating jobs because of the fear of disappointing people, can lead to stress, rather let go of some jobs for the sake of your peace of mind.
f. Breathing, meditation and quite reflection: This is one of my best way of managing stress. At times, I do pause from a work, just to call my friends, in order to assuage stress. Taking a break, does not mean you are weak, but it means smartness. Taking a walk, gisting with friends helps also.

CONCLUSION
A healthy lifestyle yields productivity and efficiency. Stress is inevitable, but can be managed with the above strategies listed above. Managing stress does not mean removing challenges but making out strategies in handling it.
