The Diary Game: Ironing Clothes And Washing Sandals (13/05/2026)

Hubby begged me to help him iron he’s clothes for outing and ahead of church and so I included my daughter s Monday school wear and my son shirt so that anytime I’m going out my son can easily get a cleaned and ironed shirt to wear. He dropped two of is natives but one out of the clothes is not washed and I had to return it and iron the one that is clean. As I’m about ironing the clothes my son started saying I should back him, if only children knows how tiring it is to carry them and still do chores in the house. Anyways I just had to back him but not too long he ask to gets down himself as he’s not the type that loves back right from when he’s tender, he’s not fond of swaddling or backing. I put the iron on a low heat pressure so that my daughters uniform doesn’t burn out as I’m ironing it. I pressed hubby cloth after and did same thing in the iron before ironing.

When I’m done with the ironing, I folded the clothes and pressed down with iron to bring out the clothes line of ironing. I had to take it to the closet thereafter as my son is eager to touch it and scatter the clothes Ironed. I give my daughter her uniform to keep as well. When I’m done with those ones already ironed. I press my sons shirt with a low pressure setting as he’s cloth is fragile to press, I put the iron line on is shirt too and keep in the closet and when I’m done, I keep the iron to it’s place and headed out to get my sandals and that of my daughter washed. I get a sponge and soap with little buckets of water. I wash my daughter s sandals first and wash mine thereafter and rinse . I spread out on the sun and left it there to dry. I rinse the sponge and dry too.

Before I left outside to return the big bowl I use to carry water back inside and rest and after a while, I check my sandals and that of my daughter. When i see that it’s dry, I take them inside and arrange it with the one in my shoe rack , my son had already scattered my shoes and I had to start arranging them, I arranged them properly and put the washed one on top the other’s. I grab snacks to eat and drink water . Afterwards,head to the living room, I go to the sofa and rest my head till I have any other things to do.
