Hello friends of form and design, in Japan, an entire railway station was built practically overnight between the last train of the night and the first of the next morning, without interrupting the operation of the line and this was not achieved with more workers, it was achieved with robots.

The project used a combination of 3D printing and industrial automation powered by ABB, where structural components were pre-manufactured off-site and then brought in for assembly. Here's the most important point, the heavy lifting didn't happen on the ground, it happened before. An industrial robot was responsible for printing the structure with high precision, ensuring that each part arrived ready to assemble, reducing virtually zero adjustments during installation.

When everything arrived on site, construction stopped being a process that became assembly, the result was a complete station built in a few hours, something that traditionally would take months to complete, civil construction, which has always been one of the slowest industries to transform, begins to adopt the same logic that we already see in manufacturing, produce outside, assemble quickly and scale efficiently.
