Achievement-1: My Introduction to Steemit

Hello everyone, Good day to the amazing Steemit community. My name is @donsultan, and I am very happy making my first post on this platform. I believe every journey begins with a single step, and this is mine.

I am from Kwara State, Nigeria, but I was born in Osun State. I am a thoughtful and calm person, and I enjoy learning new things and improving myself.

I come from a very unique and lively family. I am the firstborn of my parents, which automatically comes with responsibility. After me comes sets of twins. Growing up in this kind of family was never boring. Our house was always filled with noise, laughter, and sometimes small arguments like every normal home . But being the firstborn taught me to be patient, I also learnt to sacrifice as well and sometimes I even had to act like a second parent to my siblings. I love helping people and I believe it started from my role in my family.

I completed my secondary school education years ago.Things I learnt from secondary school are discipline,Commitment and Focus, and I strongly believe that education does not stop in the classroom,.Life keeps teaching us whether through books or experiences. That mindset is one of the reasons I am excited to be on Steemit, because I see this platform as another place to learn from others experience and develop myself.

My biggest hobby is reading books and playing Basketball ball. Reading has helped me understand people better and also the way I think about life .I really enjoy books that teach life lessons and personal growth. I am also looking forward to sharing lessons I learnt from books Another thing I love doing is helping people. Whether it’s giving advice, sharing useful information, or simply encouraging someone, it gives me joy.

I got to know about Steemit through @megareigns, Interestingly, I had heard about Steemit before, but I struggled with the sign-up process for a while. I thank Almighty Allah for the day I came across one of his comments under a post on Facebook. I visited his profile, learned more about the platform through him, and everything became clearer. He is a very good mentor. I am sincerely grateful to him for guiding me in the right direction as a beginner.

I chose Steemit because it gives the opportunity to express thoughts, learn from others experience, and connect with people from different backgrounds and belief.
