Step 1 !

At the beginning of this recipe. I started by making the dough. I placed a beautiful plate in front of me. I added milk powder, maida and a little ghee. The basic ingredients play an important role in giving a soft texture and rich taste. Then I slowly mixed together. Until everything is well combined and ready for the next step.

Step 2 !

After everything is mix well. I transferred the mixture into a glass bowl. Then I slowly added milk to it. I made sure not to add too much milk. Only enough to bring everything together. My goal is to make a soft and smooth dough. I gently mixed and kneaded it. Until it became nicely combined and formed a perfect dough.

Step 3 !

Then I took a pan. I added two cups of water into it. After that I added one cup of sugar. I also added some cardamom (ilaichi). It give a nice aroma. At this stage I started preparing the sugar syrup for the Gulab Jamun. I let it cook. Then covered it leaving it on the side for about ten minutes so the flavors could blend well. After that time the sugar syrup is ready.

Step 4 !

Then I took another pan. I added oil to it. I placed it on the stove. I kept the flame very low to let the oil heat slowly. It is important to keep the flame low and not make it medium or high. While the oil is heating on low flame. I used the dough to make small Gulab Jamun balls. I shaped them into smooth round balls. Making sure there were no cracks on the surface.

Step 5 !

Then when the oil became slightly hot on low flame. I gently added the Gulab Jamun balls into it. After adding them. I did not touch or stir them for about one minute. Then after a minute. I slowly started stirring them with a spoon. They began to turn golden brown. A very nice aroma started coming from them.
