Il calcio italiano sta' attraversando un periodo orribile, nessuna squadra neanche in semifinale nelle coppe europee e nazionale fuori, per la terza volta consecutiva, dai mondiali.
Se Gravina una cosa buona l'ha fatta e' stato chiamare Silvio Baldini ad allenare l'under 21.
A seguito delle dimissioni di Gattuso, il tecnico toscano e' stato chiamato, ed interim, a guidare la nostra nazionale in due amichevoli estive con Lussemburgo e Grecia.
La prima vinta, l'altra vedremo, ma non e' questo il punto.

Lui ha accettato a patto di poter portare la sua under 21, quindi non i fenomeni che ci hanno, ancora una volta, tenuti fuori dal mondiale.
Ai suoi giovani si e' aggiunto Donnarumma che ha chiamato direttamente il mister dando la sua disponibilita', e' stato il solo a farlo.

Baldini in un mondo vecchio e marcio come il nostro pianeta calcio rappresenta una boccata d'aria fresca.

Ha dichiarato, nella conferenza stampa ufficiale, non con gli amici al bar, che il nostro calcio e' messo come e' messo perche e' in mano a dei lestofanti.
Meraviglioso sentire uno che dice le cose come stanno.
Ha poi aggiunto che gli manca il curriculum per allenare la nazionale maggiore, su questo sbaglia perche' per decenni gli allenatori delle nazionali venivano da un percorso federale e non dai vari campionati.

Valcareggi, Bearzot, Vicini, Maldini giusto per fare degli esempi non e' che avessero questo gran curriculum nei club, eppure in nazionale hanno fatto bene.
Sicuramente dopo queste due partite, purtroppo, verra' nominato un allenatore, forse il ritorno di Conte, ma questa boccata d'aria buona che ci ha portato
Baldini ci voleva proprio.

If Gravina did one good thing, it was calling Silvio Baldini to coach the Under-21s.
Following Gattuso's resignation, the Tuscan coach was called, on an interim basis, to lead our national team in two summer friendlies against Luxembourg and Greece.
The first was won, the other remains to be seen, but that's beside the point.

He accepted on the condition that he could bring his Under-21s, not the prodigies who, once again, kept us out of the World Cup.
To his young players, Donnarumma was added, calling the coach directly, offering his availability; he was the only one to do so.

Baldini represents a breath of fresh air in an old and rotten world like our planet of football.

He declared, in the official press conference—not with friends at the bar—that our football is in the state it is because it's in the hands of crooks.
It's wonderful to hear someone tell it like it is.
He then added that he lacks the resume to coach the senior national team. He's wrong about that, because for decades, national team coaches have come from a federal background, not from the various leagues.

Valcareggi, Bearzot, Vicini, and Maldini, to name a few, didn't exactly have great resumes at club level, yet they did well for the national team.
Surely, after these two matches, unfortunately, a coach will be appointed, perhaps even Conte's return, but we really needed this breath of fresh air that Baldini brought us.
