Today, I decided to return to SteemPong after taking a break from the game for about three months. To be honest, I didn't know what to expect. I thought I would be rusty and struggle to find my rhythm again. However, what happened today completely surprised me.

Even after being away from the game for so long, I was able to put up some impressive scores that reminded me why I enjoyed playing SteemPong in the first place. It was one of those gaming sessions that leaves you smiling and eager for the next challenge.

The first round was definitely a warm-up. My movements felt a little shaky, and I could tell that I wasn't fully locked in yet. It took some time to get used to the pace of the game again.

Despite that, I managed to score 992, which is just a few points away from the 1000 mark. Seeing that score was both exciting and frustrating. Exciting because I had not played for three months and still managed to perform well, but frustrating because I was so close to reaching 1000.

At that point, I knew I couldn't end the session there.

After missing the 1000 mark in the first round, I decided to fully focus on the second attempt. This time, I was determined to show what I could really do.

The difference was immediate. My timing improved, my reactions became sharper, and I felt much more comfortable controlling the paddle. Everything seemed to click into place.

By the end of the round, I had achieved a score of 1374, a result that honestly shocked me. Considering I had not touched the game for months, this performance felt unbelievable.

Final Thoughts

Today's gameplay reminded me that experience never truly disappears. Even after months away from SteemPong, the skills I developed previously were still there waiting to be awakened.

Scoring 992 in the first round and then bouncing back with 1374 in the second round made this one of my most enjoyable returns to a game.

This comeback has motivated me to start playing more regularly again. If this is what I can achieve after a three-month break, I'm excited to see what scores I can reach with consistent practice.
