The diary game:(11/06/2026)Day 5 at the new construction site

Good evening everyone hope you are all good and healthy,welcome to another diary section @abdulsamadyusuf.

Good evening Steemians. Welcome to my diary Day 5. The weather today was calm and bright. The sun stood out for us well,that means our work will go smoothly without us stressing our self I was able to do my job well.

Today we started without any stress about the weather. First thing we did was to go and buy the blocks. The ones we had before finished completely. No block remaining to continue the block work for the tank. So I went to a nearby block industry where they produce block . We were able to buy twenty blocks. Those twenty blocks will help us continue the job,after buying, we loaded them and went straight to the site. We did not meet any supervisor at the site. The security guard told us that all supervisors were called to Abuja for an induction ceremony. They need to access all files for the project before more materials can be sent down. For now we are only doing toilet, bathroom, pit, and block work where the tank will stand.

When we dropped the twenty blocks on the floor, we got a call from management. They asked us to add one more block on top of the toilet and bathroom building. That was the first work we did today. We added one layer of block on top where we stopped the last day. After that we checked the slab we casted before to see if it had dried very well. We turned it over to the other side. Then we poured water on it so that the sides can get the same treatment as the other side.This will make it stronger and more compacted,we did not cover it today so management can see what we did when they come.

From there we went to the tank area. That is where we are building block up for the tank to stand. Today we added six more couch,of block. Before today we had done three coats. Now it is eight coats total. With eight coats we will be able to put the tank on top. But we did not put the tank today. We want everything to dry well first. Maybe tomorrow when we come we will sort it out and put the tank on top.

Today was really a good day for me. We were able to get our materials that have finished ,we were able to add one more layer on the building, turned the slab, and raised the tank area to eight couch. thank God for the good weather today and strength to carry out my job.
