The dairy game: (9/06/2026) 3rd day at the new construction site

Good evening everyone and hope you had a very fantastic day welcome you all to another diary session at @abdulsamadyusuf.

I'm going to be giving you day three of what happened at the new construction site I'm working. We could not leave early today because of the weather. Serious rain fell in the morning so we had to wait till 8:45am before keke carried us to the site.

On getting to site we couldn't start immediately because the boss themselves came with supervisors from Abuja to inspect. Our boss that we are working with was not on site today so we had to wait for them to check everything before we start.After inspection we went into the store where we kept our materials. I took my rubbers to get sand, got granite, and cement. We mixed sand, granite and cement with water to make concrete for mixing.

As of yesterday we were not able to finish the upper part of the building where the door is. It had an opening so we had to close it today. The camping table was supposed to come but it didn't, so we fixed it ourselves. We arranged woods above and constructed it well so we could finish that part.

Then we finished the pit work and it was remaining the cover for the pit. I must tell you this is the most amazing part. The process involved in covering the pit was very remarkable because I have not seen that kind of process before. The process is shown in the picture below how it was done.

Before it was casted, after casting we have to leave it till tomorrow before we can use it because it needs to get dried. Then we will raise it and put it on top to cover it.

The company also bought tank for the toilet and bathroom but we were not able to fix it today. We only did the digging for the tank to stay. That is where we ended our work. We were able to close by 5pm. Though it was not hectic because the weather was calm due to the rain that fell in the morning.
