The Dairy Game: Sunday Service and An Evening Cooking[7/6/2026]
Hello everyone welcome to another amazing episode of my dairy session with me @preciouswils. Today, I'll be sharing how my Sunday went. Nothing too much; just cool and enjoyable 😀..
I had woken up quite early, as early as 5:00am. I said a quick prayer and dashed out of bed in preparation for church. I never attend church late; reason I'm up so early. Today, I decided to get myself ready first before the kids, it's a hack that really helps me. In about two hours we were all ready. My Church isn't quite far, so in another thirty minutes we arrived Church.
My Kids went upstairs for the Children class while I joined the main congregation for Sunday School. The topic for the day was 'God the Opener of Doors'. We were reminded that God alone has the power to open and shut doors and He uses different mediums to achieve this...quite an educative session as I learnt a whole lot.
The Service soon started proper. From the Call to Worship, to the Worship and Praise Session to Testimony Hour and Choir Ministration; all went smoothly. It was time for Message which was titled 'Possible Doors' and taken by Pst Shalom. He explained that Doors are Access Points which can sometimes be targeted by the enemies but God who is all powerful is always able to cause possible Doors to open for us with blessings at the other side. He rounded up with prayers for everyone.
Thereafter, Tithes and Offerings were taken followed by a few announcements and then the service ended. I went around to great a few of my brethren; a little chit chat here and there. I equally joined the Teens meeting for about twenty minutes before finally heading home with my family.

Took some really lovely pictures
As soon as we got home, tell me why kids were already singing in my ears that they were hungry when they had brunch and snacks in Church. I immediately headed to the kitchen to prepare rice and eggs sauce for them. This took about thirty minutes to prepare. I dished everyone's portion and everyone had a good meal.
We saw a movie together and then everyone moved to have a nap. I had to literally force the kids to get this nap. By the time I woke up it was almost 5pm. I went about the evening chores and prepping for the new week. So there.....that was all about my Sunday. How did yours go. Was it eventful?....
