Friends, I have already shared parts of this post previously; today, I have returned with the remainder. The subject of this post revolves around the combined Freshers' Welcome and Farewell Ceremony. We celebrated this event—bidding farewell to our seniors while extending a warm welcome to the newcomers—on January 20, 2026. In fact, the event was aptly named "Uttoron" (Transition). Furthermore, during the ceremony, many of our juniors and classmates performed by reciting poetry and singing songs. All in all, before the conclusion of the first segment of the program, we served refreshments to our teachers.

Subsequently, our own refreshments were served, with separate arrangements made for vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. Everyone was required to collect a token in order to receive their meal. I, personally, opted for the vegetarian meal, which consisted of fried rice accompanied by a chili paneer curry; meanwhile, those who chose the non-vegetarian option were served chicken alongside their fried rice.

In the first session, after the teachers and faculty members had departed, refreshments were served on one side, while on the other, the juniors were welcomed with a rose and a file each. Meanwhile, to bid farewell to the seniors, each of them was presented with a rose, a file, and a commemorative crest. Many attendees also ventured outside—to the pond ghat or amidst the natural surroundings—to capture photographs to their heart's content. This was because, for this special occasion, the boys had come dressed in Panjabis and the girls in Sarees. My friends and I also headed to the pond bank to take pictures; consequently, we missed the opportunity to photograph those special moments of welcome and farewell. I, too—clad in a Saree—took a few photographs.

Moreover, a fantastic spot had been set up outdoors specifically for taking photos, featuring images of various animals and fun stickers that we held up while posing for pictures. These moments were truly enjoyable. The second phase of the event began after the snack break, featuring dancing accompanied by a DJ and video projections—though we were not permitted to share any footage of this publicly. Regardless, the entire experience was thoroughly enjoyable, and it was already evening by the time the event finally came to a close.

I hope you will like my post very much.I will be back again with a new post later. Until then, everyone stay well. May God keep everyone healthy.
