1 NOW AFTER THESE THINGS, GOD TESTED [the faith and commitment of] ABRAHAM AND SAID TO HIM, “ABRAHAM!” AND HE ANSWERED, “HERE I AM.”
2 GOD SAID, “Take now your son, your only son, [of promise], whom you love, Issac, and go to the region of Moriah, AND OFFER HIM THERE AS A BURNT OFFERING ON ONE OF THE MOUNTAINS OF WHICH I SHALL TELL YOU.”
Genesis 22:1,2 (Amp.)

Before the turn of the year, God will put you to the test for promotion. God will not promote you without a test!

Be watchful!
God’s test comes in various ways and forms. After you have laboured or worked—prior to your promotion—God will allow you to be tested.
The complexness or intricateness of the test is that you may not know that what you are being confronted with was a test.
You have to be spiritually sensitive enough to discern that what you are going through is a test from God to prove you heart, before you can be considered for promotion.
It may not be announced, you might not be told that you are to be put to a test.
Albeit, you may be alerted by the Holy Spirit, if you are walking in fellowship with Him, that is, if you are spiritually sensitive (1 Corinthians 2:11,12).
• God will test your patience– endurance (James 1:3).
• He will test your humility (Isaiah 66:2).
• He will test your hospitality, how accomodating you are (1 Timothy 3:2; Hebrews 13:2).
• He will also test your faithfulness (1 Timothy 3:10).

“BUT LET THESE ALSO FIRST BE TESTED; THEN LET THEM SERVE AS DEACONS BEING FOUND BLAMELESS.”
1 Timothy 3:10 (NKJV)

Note
• God will use the people around you, and the people brought your way, to conduct a test for your promotion. God would want to know how you relate and care for other people.
• If God permits a challenge, situation or circumstance, and you handle it maturely; then you are a candidate for promotion.

Truths
• Test can be hidden and unknown as a test.
• God has a way of proving the heart of his children.
• Your heart matters to God than what you do for Him.

Beware of influence!
Do not allow someone—your friend, or a member of your team—to influence you negatively and do contrary to God’s will (Matthew 10:36; 16:21-23).

21 FROM THAT TIME JESUS BEGAN TO SHOW TO HIS DISCIPLES THAT HE MUST GO TO JERUSALEM, and suffer many things from the elders and chief priest and scribes, and be killed, and be raised the third day.
22 Then Peter took Him aside and began to rebuke Him, saying, “FAR BE IT FROM YOU, LORD; THIS SHALL NOT HAPPEN TO YOU!”
23 BUT HE TURNED AND SAID TO PETER, “GET BEHIND ME, SATAN! YOU ARE AN OFFENSE TO ME, FOR YOU ARE NOT MINDFUL OF THE THINGS OF GOD, BUT THE THINGS OF MEN.”
Matthew 16:21-23 (NKJV)

Be highly sensitive
As you earnestly expect promotion from God, do expect a test before the turn of the year.
Remember tests come disguisely: “DO NOT FORGET TO ENTERTAIN STRANGERS, FOR BY SO DOING SOME HAVE UNWITTINGLY ENTERTAINED ANGELS” (Hebrews 13:2 NKJV).

You will not fail in Jesus’name. Peace!
