WAKING UP WITH THE ROAD, SUNRISES FROM A TRUCKER'S PERSPECTIVE

in #diarylast month

As a long-haul truck driver, my mornings usually start much earlier than most people would consider reasonable. Sometimes it’s 4 a.m., sometimes even earlier. The world is still wrapped in silence, rest stops are empty, and all I can hear is the quiet hum of the engine cooling down and the distant sound of birds waking up before the cities do.

But here’s the thing...
Being on the road at those ungodly hours has one big perk: I get to witness some of the most beautiful sunrises — completely unplanned, completely unfiltered, and completely free.
