Record after record. Blocky Road on a roll.

After yet another frustrating failure to even come close to the results of the cheater-millionaires champion trio in the updated Survivor Arena, I activated autoplayer(oops😅) all my skill and vented the accumulated irritation in Blocky Road, setting a new absolute record for the second season in a row.

Last time, I took this territory from @river.walker who will now be holding the defense in Sky Tower, where his positions are so strong and unreachable that I don’t even dream of surpassing them. Especially since I now have my own mountaintop of Olympus in one of the three main skill-dependent games, which I’ll have to defend.

For this event, I'll share a few gameplay tips. The most important thing is: if you play on a phone or tablet, you can forget about records. I deliberately don’t write that achieving high results will be very difficult for you, rather than impossible, because that would be a lie and manipulation. But if you're in it just for the fun, then by all means.

Determine your nervous system type. If you are a nervous, impatient, and easily excitable person, learn to make stops, look around, and control your breathing — instead of frantically tapping buttons trying to score points as fast as possible. And conversely - for people who are overly cautious and hesitant, - you need more impulsiveness and snap decisions. Practice taking risks and accelerating.

It’s important not just to jump with your character, but to be able to super-quickly press the movement direction keys in order to run back and forth and sideways at a high speed. This is especially necessary when crossing roads — you shouldn’t always wait for a clear space, but instead dash lightning-fast between very closely moving cars. I often use these narrow corridors even when my character takes up the entire space and there is literally no room left. To pull this off, you need to time the moment with pinpoint precision and hit the buttons extremely fast.

If a car passes and nothing is coming behind it, you can quickly get into the same lane and move along right behind that car, safely waiting for a convenient moment to continue forward.

When you approach the water crossings, always position yourself near the corner where the floating boards start appearing. And start moving only when you can immediately jump onto the second one, or from the first to the second and third if it’s a triple row. Don’t just jump on the first one you see. Learn to look ahead and think several steps in advance.

The same approach is useful when approaching roads, but here it's better to adjust not to the angle from which the cars are coming, but to the one they're turning into. However, not right next to it, but somewhere in the center between the middle of the entire road and that edge/corner.

Don’t be afraid to pick up coins, at least those that are in safe places and relatively close to you. They give at least ten percent extra points. In my latest record, about 30 points — or even more — came from collected coins. But you shouldn’t run around the whole map chasing them, especially in the later stages, when you need to fully focus on the obstacles to keep moving forward. After all, the deeper into the woods, the bigger the wolves.

Did you know that if you press the forward key and a side key at the same time, your character jumps in a zigzag? This can be called a feint, which is sometimes very useful in unexpected situations and is often used spontaneously for maneuvering at high speeds.

Grazie. E questa è la mappa e il personaggio con cui ho fatto il record. 😄 Purtroppo non ho registrato il video.

What a strange assumption – what made you think that?
Well, no matter: congratulations on your Blocky records!

This is complimentary irony in gaming slang. For example, when someone says 'He's just a cheater,' they actually mean the player is so good that it looks unrealistically strong. 💪 Thanks for congratulating me!

If I return your -100% vote (that's a downvote you send to me), this post will be 1/3 less in value.
You sure you want to go in that direction?
Games are competitive but you better think twice.

Relax, champ. Everything’s fine.

Thank you for sharing quality content!
