I think Cur8 Games platform has a huge potential. I really mean HUGE and I really hope its developers and managers foresee growing it even bigger.
For instance, why not turn those Coins into a real independent crypto coin /or token if that's too difficult/I think on Solana not so difficult?/ and instead of just a game commodity we have a new investment tool?
Just throwing out this idea, let's light a bright path to future glory! :-D

Interesting idea! Creating a token is definitely doable, but without strong utility and solid tokenomics it risks becoming just another useless/scam-like token.
A Layer 2 on Steem could be more interesting for launching a token (like SteemVM), but even then the key point would be giving the token real value for users and investors.
This could be the next phase for Cur8 games, but first we would like to think carefully about it and involving all players of our community in order for all to benefit from this.
Agreed! There must be solid tokenomics so there is real demand.
There was a small team of developers working on Layer 2 on STEEM, actually it was a separate chain if I'm not mistaken but this didin't go past few months of testing, as far as I know.
STEEM developer portal looks like it hasn't had any updates in 6-7 years.
A good Layer 2 will definitely open the door for more dApps on STEEM but I guess the current low prices of STEEM are drawing many developers back at the moment.
However, there are chains already existing with low gas fees so why reinvent the wheel. :-)
