๐ฎ Trying the Ranked Mode in Altitude
Hello, fellow gamers and Cur8 lovers!
Today I was browsing through the Cur8 Games platform wondering what to play.
Then I noticed that Altitude had been moved into the Ranked Games section.
Well, that made today's choice easy.
Altitude it is!
๐ First Attempts
I jumped straight into the third menu, the Ranked Mode.
And... well...
I died almost immediately ๐
Not exactly the greatest start.
So I gave it another try.
This run went much better, and I couldn't help laughing at the character's expression every time it jumped.
๐ A Decent First Run
After getting past a few obstacles and reaching a checkpoint, I managed to finish with:

Not bad at all for an early attempt.
๐ Time for Some Upgrades
Next, I headed over to the shop.
There were so many upgrades available that I honestly just picked one that looked useful.
I decided to upgrade:
Ghost Repel
Auto-repels one ghost on contact.
For now, I only upgraded it to Level 1.
Then it was straight back into the game.
๐ฅ Better Results the Second Time
The upgrade seemed to help.
Or maybe I was just getting used to the game.
Either way, my second serious run was noticeably better.

A significant improvement compared to my first run.
๐ Checking the Leaderboard
Of course, after finishing I had to check the leaderboard.
To my surprise, I was sitting in 3rd place.
Not bad!
Then I looked at the player in first place...
The score was absolutely ridiculous.
Honestly, it felt like we weren't even playing the same game.
That score is on another level entirely ๐
Still, I had a lot of fun today.
Altitude turned out to be much more entertaining than I expected, and I'll definitely be giving Ranked Mode another shot soon.
