SLC31-W6: “Creative Interpretation | The Concept - Becoming
Welcome to this wonderful contest of creative interpretation. The word Becoming may seem very simple at first glance, but its depth is much deeper. I think it is not a sudden change, but rather an ongoing process, a beautiful transformation. I am trying to explain this concept in the light of my life experience and my own philosophy.
Create a final piece inspired by the concept Becoming. |
|---|
"Becoming" in my view (Inspired by the concept "Becoming")
To me, Becoming is a quiet promise to keep growing a little every day. Many people think that success or achieving a goal is the final destination. But I believe “Becoming” is actually about the small changes, struggles, and experiences we go through every day while moving toward that goal.
From coping with the daily pressures of a busy life to the step-by-step process of trying to learn a new language or skill—none of these things happen in a day. The mindset of waking up every morning and overcoming my limitations is what helps me ‘become’ a new and mature person. I believe that this is not a magical overnight change, but rather a unique story of patience and consistency.
What transformation is taking place in your interpretation? |
|---|
The biggest transformation that is taking place in my creative interpretation is transforming fear into experience and failure into learning. There was a time when I was afraid to start any new work or fail. It seemed that everything had to be perfect the first time. But with time, a huge change has come in my thinking. Now I understand that every mistake or every obstacle does not actually come to stop us but rather to awaken our inner strength more perfectly. This mental transformation of constantly improving ourselves, coming out of the pursuit of perfection, is playing a key role in my interpretation. Also, during my career while working at Bikroy.com,
I have seen from personal experience.
We all make mistakes! Interestingly, It’s okay to make mistakes—this principle is actually one of the core organizational values of Bikroy.com and its parent company. They actively encouraged this mindset to foster innovation and learning. Their company had 5 principles or values, which are,
- Know your KPIs
- Results speak loudest
- Do fewer things better
- You make the call
- It’s OK to make mistakes
What challenges appear during this process? |
|---|
This path of transformation is never smooth. The biggest challenges come from within us and from the environment around us:
Tests of patience and invisible improvements: Many times, we find ourselves working hard but don’t get any visible results or immediate applause. I think the biggest challenge is to hold on to myself and not give up during this time.
Lack of time and mental stress: It is quite difficult to find extra time to maintain your busy life, family responsibilities, and creativity.
Fear of making the wrong decision: When trying to do something new or change yourself, there is always a doubt—"Am I moving in the right direction?" Overcoming this mental dilemma is the real struggle.
How does your piece connect to your personal growth or vision? |
|---|
This presentation or writing I have prepared today is a direct reflection of my own personal growth and future vision.
Personal Growth: This writing reminds me that I am a little ahead of where I was yesterday. When I write these thoughts in a blog, it helps me re-evaluate my strengths and weaknesses, which increases my confidence many times over.
Vision: My vision for the future is to never stop learning. No matter how difficult the situation is, anyone can reinvent themselves through honesty, patience, and hard work—this belief is the driving force of my life. This post will serve as a reminder of my future path.
Conclusion
Finally, I would like to say that Becoming is not a destination; it is a beautiful journey. It teaches us that life is not about being perfect but about constantly changing and making ourselves more mature and humane. Let us all enjoy this process of transformation.
