Becoming is not a moment,
It is a slow fire within the soul.
A quiet change hidden behind pain,
Behind sleepless nights and silent battles.
It is learning to rise after failure,
Even when fear whispers, “Give up.”

I once believed growth was easy,
That success arrived without scars.
But life taught me otherwise.
Every disappointment made me,
Every mistake was a lesson,
And every tear watered my strength.

Becoming means leaving old versions behind,
The insecure child afraid of falling,
The voice that doubted every dream,
The heart that feared rejection.
It is choosing courage over comfort,
And hope over hopelessness.

Sometimes the journey feels lonely.
People may not understand the process.
There are days filled with confusion,
Days when progress feels invisible.
Yet transformation stood still,
Like sunrise before the world awakens.

I am becoming someone stronger,
Not perfect, but wiser than before.
Someone who understands that failure
Is not the end of the road.
It is part of growth, part of becoming.

My vision is not only to succeed,
But to inspire others through my story.
To show that even broken moments
Can mold a beautiful future.
And though the journey lingers,
I know I am becoming.

What transformation is taking place in your interpretation?

The transformation in my interpretation is the gentle change from insecurity and fear into confidence, and self-belief. At the beginning, the feeling was uncertain about life and the person was afraid of making mistakes.

However, through experiences, failures, and emotional struggles, they begin to understand that growth is not about being perfect. Instead, it is about learning, adapting, and continuing even when things become difficult.

The process of becoming represents emotional maturity and the discovery of inner strength. It shows how pain, challenges, and setbacks can transform someone into a stronger version of themselves.

What challenges appear during this process?

Several challenges appear during the process of becoming. First, fear of failure is one of the biggest struggles because it can stop people from trying again after disappointment.

There is also self-doubt, loneliness, rejection, and the pressure to meet expectations from family. Sometimes the journey feels exhausting because growth is slow and the progress is not always visible.

Another challenge is letting go of old habits, negative thinking, and comfort zones. These obstacles make the journey painful at times, but they also help build character, patience, courage, and determination.

How does your piece connect to your personal growth or vision?

This piece connects deeply to my personal growth because it shows my own experiences of learning through mistakes and challenges. I have come to understand that failure does not define a person, but how they rise after failure does.

The poem expresses my desire to keep improving myself despite difficulties and fears. It also connects to my vision of becoming someone who inspires others through strength, and honesty.

My interpretation of becoming is not about reaching perfection overnight, but about growing into a better and stronger person with every experience life presents.
