SLC-S31/W6-“Creative Interpretation | The Concept - Becoming”
I used to think of life as a destination, where everything is over if I reach it. But with time, I realized that there is actually no end point in this life, but rather an ongoing process. Which continues at the same pace day after day, year after year. So I think this process is called “Becoming” where it is very necessary to rebuild yourself little by little every day.
What is changing in my interpretation?
The biggest change in my life has been in my perspective. Before, I thought success meant achieving something quickly, surpassing everyone. But now I understand that real change comes gradually. Because the change that comes slowly lasts for a long time and the one that comes too quickly temporarily messes up our lives.
I now compare myself to the past, not to others. My inner fear, uncertainty, and self-doubt are no longer my enemies, but rather they teach me how to be strong. How to make your life more beautiful and stronger. “Becoming” for me now means a final path to accepting your inner imperfections and moving forward.
What are the challenges that come with this change?
My journey has never been easy. The biggest challenge was convincing myself. Many times I would break down, feeling like I am not enough for this work that I am doing. But later I would think that in order to change my life, I would have to overcome such challenges.
Another big challenge was to be patient. Change comes very slowly, but we all want results quickly. When results are not seen, the mind becomes frustrated. Keeping yourself steady at those times was the hardest thing to do.
And people's expectations also create pressure at times. Everyone wants us to succeed quickly, but no one understands how deep the inner struggle is.
How does this relate to my personal growth and vision?
“Becoming” has become the most important lesson in my life. I have learned that I am not perfect yet, and that is normal.
My personal growth now means becoming a little better every day, learning to understand a little more, and not being afraid of my mistakes. I now believe that my current situation is not an end, but just a step.
My vision is to become a person who can be an inspiration not only to myself, but to others as well. And on that path, I am “Becoming” every day, slowly, but truly. You may or may not believe it, but I am not lacking in effort.
What I will say is that “Becoming” is not a destination, it is a feeling. It is a beautiful story of small daily changes, which gradually build the person inside us and make it stronger and stronger. I no longer seek perfection—I just want to become “me” a little bit every day. I don’t know how long I can do this and in how many days I will be able to become that me.
