Un Beso, una Historia que Contar

How are you all? I hope that by the grace of God, you are all well and healthy. Today, I am really happy to participate in this wonderful competition organised by Adrian Bhai (adriancabrera). We write about many things every day on this platform, but we don't always have the opportunity to think or write about "kiss" or this gentle expression of love. Which I usually never write about. But today, I felt like participating in this competition is mandatory for me. On the occasion of International Kissing Day on April 13th, this event opened the windows of memory anew.

First of all, let me say that kissing is not just a physical touch for me; it is a silent language of love. In this busy and mechanical life today, where we are all trapped in our screens, a kiss of affection or a touch of love on the forehead of a loved one seems to have the magic of erasing all fatigue. It is a bond that can say a lot of deep things without words. It can also forget many old hurts and can also give a lot of courage in any task.

Like everyone, I have a story of a kiss in my life that I will remember forever. And I am sharing it with you. I hope you like it. That was a big turning point in my life. When I was leaving home for the first time to go to another city to support my family, just before packing my bags and boarding the bus, my mother held my cheeks and kissed me on the forehead. There was no romance in that touch, but there was a sky-high amount of love and blessing. Even today, when I am in big trouble or feel alone, I subconsciously feel that cold and selfless touch of my mother on my forehead. This is probably the best and most unforgettable kiss of my life.

If we talk about the "perfect kiss", then for me it is not something that is planned. Rather, on a suddenly cloudy day, when everything around is completely silent and looking into the eyes of your loved one, it seems as if the whole world has stopped in one place. The gentle touch of that moment is the perfect kiss, the perfect love. Where there is no rush, only the beating of two hearts can be heard.

Now, if we talk about the world of cinema. For me, that famous scene from the movie 'Titanic' is always special. When Jack is standing on the deck of the ship, he is hugging Rose's waist and giving her the feeling of fluttering in the wind, and then that deep kiss of theirs—that was the ultimate form of freedom and love. And if at that moment "You're Beautiful" or some such soft tune is playing in the background, then the scene seems completely complete.

People say that some kisses are given through the language of the eyes. I myself have felt this connection. Sometimes, when you look at someone very dear with deep compassion, the tension that you feel without any words is no less than a touch. It seems that a thousand kisses are hidden in that look.

However, not all memories are sweet. I have a funny, or rather embarrassing,g memory. Once when I was a student, I was very nervous to impress the person of my heart. When I went to kiss his forehead, my teeth collided with his forehead in excitement! That romantic moment instantly turned into a funny and painful incident. Thinking about it now makes me laugh, but I was in a bad state of shame that day.

And finally, if I talk about a person in history whom I would never want to kiss, then it would definitely be Adolf Hitler. I would not want to trample even the shadow of the person who had hatred for millions of people in his heart.

These small expressions of love and respect make our lives beautiful. I hope you all have some such beautiful memories in your lives.
