A day off spent non-stop cooking.
Hello, my lovely friends! I'm back! Even though it's a holiday, I have some fun stories to share. This morning and afternoon, I spent a lot of time eating, and then eating, and eating some more! Haha... Even though it's the same dishes repeatedly, I never get tired of them, and they're always delicious. Because it's my own cooking! You know, when you cook something yourself, it's always better. Nobody knows your cooking better than yourself, right? Let's see what I made today!
What a lovely morning! I enjoyed a walk admiring the flowers next to the house, which seems to have become quite my hobby. The orchids I planted are blooming profusely, and they stay on the plants for many months. I picked one to put behind my ear, just for fun, hoping to look as beautiful as a character from classical literature, haha, am I overthinking it? But orchids are truly beautiful; they are known as the queen of flowers.
Around 11:00 AM, I brewed some chrysanthemum tea to quench my thirst and cool down. The fragrant aroma of the chrysanthemum flowers and pandan leaves is refreshing. Brewing it plain is already very beneficial, but if you want a little sweetness, add sugar. Or, for the best experience, after brewing, chill it in the refrigerator a bit. Drinking it on a hot day is incredibly refreshing – I guarantee it!
After finishing the chrysanthemum tea, it was time for food! The highlight was the homemade broccoli noodles, a favorite of my youngest daughter. They're simple to make – just blanch the noodles and add a little seasoning, not much sugar, very clean eating. The vegetables are blanched. That's one dish down for the kids. Next up is my dish: papaya salad with cucumber, served with the homemade noodles – it's incredibly delicious! And we also had crispy, fragrant fried fish to go with it – it was pure bliss today. When you cook at home, you can make as much or as little as you like, and it tastes amazing. You can add more if needed. Cooking at home is very economical and allows you to feed many people – it's truly worthwhile. And that's my story for today. Even though I only had a short time, I wanted to share it with you all. I hope everyone is happy.
Thank you for reading my article, and see you in the next one. Bye!

🎉 Congratulations, @paopaoza!
