Photography of Limonia flowers:
Limonium is a distinct type of flower, also known as Sea-Lavender. There are approximately 600 species within this genus. These flowers are small and colorful, and are widely used as "filler" flowers in floral arrangements. They are primarily available in shades of blue, purple, white, pink, and yellow. Even when dried, the flowers retain their color and the beauty of their petals. Some varieties grow in clusters, while others feature five petals.
I first saw and discovered this flower today in a small farmer's garden right next to the Bardhaman Zoological Park—a place filled with various flowering plants, ornamental foliage, and indoor plants. The farmer sells these at very low prices, either to the wholesale market or directly to individuals. That is where I took these photos, even though our primary reason for visiting the Bardhaman Zoological Park today, June 5th, was to mark World Environment Day.So, let us take a look at the flowers...
| I hope you all enjoy today's photographs. I will return again another day with a new topic; until then, I wish you all good health and well-being. |
