Steem Memory Game 🎮🥰
My take at the Steem Memory Match daily challenge today and how my performance went.
My reason for playing today's Memory Match daily challenge on the Steem Memory Game platform is because Free mode always help me sharpen my focus and cognitive ability. The daily challenges are a good way to always keep my brain engaged, the Steem community is part of my lifestyle, so why not have my mind in the race for a change. In that way, I'm always working on how to improve my memory and how fast my recall can be.
My gameplay session today
Today the cards are the sumer style of memory cards. There were 20 cards on a grid, with 10 matching cards of ice cream sundaes, ice pops, tropical coconut drink and lime lifebuoys.
As soon as I press on the play button to begin the timer started, the grid becomes to me like the most interesting place at that moment. Mid-game at the 41s mark, I had already found 4 of the 10 matches within 14 moves. Keeping the cards in my head is never an easy thing especially on a grid with 20 cards, one wrong flip can easily make you go wrong with you position lock ins. Luckily, I was focused enough to keep the correct positions in my head and was very effective to flip the rest of the 10 cards in less than 23 moves.
Final score breakdown
I successfully finished the entire grid within the next minute. Below is my final breakdown.
- Time spent: 1:03.49
- Total moves: 23
- Perfect matches: 10/10
- Score: 1,506 points
The breakdown of my score shows 236.505 Time bonus because I finished the game quickly, 770 move bonus for keeping my total moves less than 25, and 500 perfect match bonus as I managed to clear the 10 cards in the grid successfully without any mistake.
The ability to find the 10 pairs of cards in 23 moves on a grid of 20 cards indicates that my spatial memory has been quite sharp this morning. This 1,506 point finish definitely puts a smile on my face but I know for sure that I could do better with an even faster speed.
Thanks for reading my post I'm inviting @josepha, @mesola and @chant to participate.
