Steem Hop Game 🎮 👌

Recently I have been passing time playing Steemit games, and I wanted to share how I am doing in Steem Hop. The basic gameplay is very easy to understand and to become addicted to, but difficult to master. You simply navigate your blocky character over roads, jumping to avoid getting squished by the cars. In the following picture

is the starting screen. It doesn't look difficult, but when the traffic starts zooming past you need good timing to jump across.

The main gameplay also features some auxiliary modes which are used to supplement your score, and include the lucky wheel. As I took the picture I had just used my spin of the wheel, and got +55 points, which every point counts when trying to make it high on the worldwide leaderboard!

Speaking of the leaderboard, there is very fierce competition as shown by the picture to the left. I am currently sitting at rank 41 with my username entity01, Level 6, and 1277.00 total score.

As you can see the gaps between me and the other players above me are incredibly close. Just above me is player number 40, with 1289.00 points and number 36, which should be well within reach, is at 1346.00 points. This takes a little effort, and you have to dodge and jump really well in order to get enough points, but the game is a fun way to pass time and to feel productive while you see your name get higher and higher on the leaderboard, so stay tuned for an update soon on my climb back to the top 40.
