A Cheap Hobby?

Is it luck in love or in gambling?

I believe I don't have either, or who knows, maybe I actually do.

Yesterday I thought: let me play the lottery for a change. After a lot of hassle, I had submitted some tickets with final numbers, but I couldn't pay for them. The reason is the fact that I don't have a Dutch bank account, so they can't check if I am 18+ years old.

Although the State Lottery has existed for 300 years, gambling is not allowed for anyone under 18, and even those who do buy tickets or gamble see on the same site—I don't know how many different tickets—everywhere it says not to gamble, not to buy any balls; that all sounds very contradictory. So I won't be able to pay unless I send my passport with some numbers removed or at least made invisible. The lottery is supposed to be today, so that can of course never be achieved. One good sign: not to do it after all, otherwise everything would be going against me Hahaha. Today I asked a friend to give me two final numbers for a lottery ticket. You can't choose all the digits yourself, only the last two. Interestingly, they are the same two for her as the ones I had specified, so that's not getting us anywhere either.

It seems we have this quite often, that we say or think the same thing. The other two options that were given didn't win, so it's just as well that you weren't bought butter with them. We'll see if anything is purchased before April 27th. That's King's Day, so it's not like that will be celebrated with some extra pocket money; it wouldn't be crazy, certainly not if it's a million and tax-free. The state has surely earned enough already for the prizes to be paid out netto. Lottery tickets can also be bought at Primera shop, by the way. You do have to choose from what is available, though. To what extent ID is requested then is unclear. I'll see by then.

I noticed the lottery has a wallet in the account. Prizes will be transferred to this wallet. If one keeps winning the lottery paus itself with this wallet, anonymous to the bank and this way it makes a cheap hobby (as long as you win), till the addiction starts.

I've been staring at the photo, and I still couldn't tell what it is

I guess it is Christmas decoration unless you like them on a daily base on your ceiling. I doubt these are lamps, but you never know. 🤣

Haha. I had always wanted a Christmas tree that can stay put throughout the year. Maybe this decorative piece can serve one for the entire year too.

me too.

till the addiction starts.

There is no addiction. It is a concept crafted by weak people, those who don't seem to control their urges. You go on, and there will be winning for you.

I not sure what the winning will be. The lottery? Please, but very soon. Fame? Not interested. Eternal life? No thanks, not even a long life.

(Is it luck in love or in gambling?)Some people say that those who are lucky in love are not lucky in gambling and vice versa, but I don't agree with this. In fact, luck is something we attract ourselves with our good energy and positive attitude.

A lucky person is always lucky but you can also be lucky if you are single. I saw a video where a guy said: still single atyour 30s? Congratulations, you just missed your first divorce. 😄
There is always something positive and luck in whatever you do or don't do.

The advantage I have as a single man is that the money I earn is just for me. It sounds a bit... I don't know how to say it, but it's totally true hahaha

In fact, gambling itself is a bad thing and a waste of time.

The question is what is the difference between: sports (bets), gaming, gambling... There's a very thin line.

In my opinion, anything done for fun is called a game, but if a bet is placed on the same activity, it becomes gambling, which not only ruins the fun of the game but also leads the person to losses.
