Daily Prompt | Lack of inspiration
As readers, it is easy to read a work, analyze it, write reviews, and even criticize it. However, we never think that the lack of inspiration is a real problem that writers of all times have faced.
Although when reading authors like Kafka, Poe, Orwell, and others, it seems they never struggled with a lack of inspiration. Some authors have been more prolific than others, while others died so young that they deprived us of their work far too soon.
It is often said that inspiration is feminine and therefore capricious, and that the more you chase her, the more she flees from those who seek her.
That is why when someone tells us they are going through moments of lack of inspiration, it is most likely that they are experiencing a creative block, and that it will disappear in the same way it arrived.

Cuando se es lector resulta sencillo leer una obra, analizarla, hacer reseñas, e incluso criticarla. Sin embargo nunca pensamos en que la falta de inspiración es un problema real con el que se enfrentan los escritores de todos los tiempos.
Aunque leyendo a autores como Kafka, Poe , Orwell y otros, pareciera que nunca tuvieron problemas de falta de inspiración. Algunos autores han sido más prolíficos que otros, mientras tanto otros murieron tan jóvenes que nos privaron de su obra demasiado pronto.
Suele decirse que la inspiración es femenina y por eso es caprichosa, y que mientras más se la persigue, más huye de quien la busca.
Por eso cuando alguien nos dice que está pasando por momentos de falta de inspiración, lo más probable es que tenga un bloqueo creativo, y que éste desaparecerá de la misma forma en que llegó.
