Trust me it can benefit you if people believe you are a guy! By now I no longer care what they believe. Does it matter? For sure strong females are easily mistaken for men, besides of the fact many men in the internet pretend they are female.
I like your cartoon and you are right. It's not difficult to avoid saying sir/mister or ma'am.
Well, to be honest, I only bother me because my nick is obviously female, but as you said, there are people that use to cheat others pretending being other.
I guess my problem is that I think all people is rational but well, someone wants to say an unnecessary extra word even when they are unsure about the other people genre 😆
