Open Threat || Prompt
Open threat is a bold move.
No one makes an open threat without a backing, they certainly have someone or a group backing them up.
Threats, whether open or in secret should not be taken lightly.
Action should be taken, either to avoid it or to counter it because an open threat is a real business.
It is really intentional.
Personally, I have had some open threat.
Most of them are not life threatening though but I have had open life threatening situations.
I panicked and took necessary action by inviting backups to assist me in countering the threat.
Eventually, I was victorious.
They ran away.
Threats should not be taken lightly.
Do the needful.

It's an interesting thought if no one makes a threat without a backing (now, Trump comes to mind). I do believe there are those who will especially if they feel confident enough they are the god ruling. Nevertheless, it's good to have some backups and not let yourself be threatened without fighting back. It's what most victims suffer most from: the fact they never defended themselves.
Backups are really important during threats, you are rest assured of support from others.
However, if there is no backup, you can still thrive and survive. Maybe backup can come sometime later.
