The Miracles Of Moses (31/05/2026)
Miracles are attestation to God's power among men. Whenever it occurs, it makes people to believe more. Over the ages God has employed the use of miracle with his messengers as to confirm their calling and convinced their audience their audience. Skeptics say that age of miracle has passed, bul we can refute them. There are miracles today.The three areas to look into are:
(1). Purpose Behind Every Miracle: From the book of Exodus chapters 4,8,9 and 1, miracles Moses performed were to make Pharaoh to be convinced about the mission and to comply Though due to his hardness of heart, many miracles were done and he eventually gave in to the divine demand. When miracles occur the following do happen: People will believe Exodus 4:29-30, accomplishing divine work becomes easier Exodus 11:31-34, 37, It displays the futility of Satan's work Exodus 7 10-12, Exodus 8:16-19, it also magnifies God Exodus 9:13-16, it spreads the gospel faster Mark 7:36.
(2). Pattern Of Miracles Follows An Endless List: The Rod of Moses did the following at different times turned to serpents, turn river to blood, smile on dust to bring out lice and many others. At another time Moses blew ashes on his hand towards heaven and boils came out to smite Pharaoh and his magician. Elijah and Elisha's miracle pattern were different Elisha used salt to heal the water of the land. At another time instead of praying for a leaper he sent him to wash seven times in Jordan.God healed through Siloam. There are people like Naaman today who felt God should use a particular method. Jesus pray directly, at other time he used saliva and clay. From the varying pattern of God you must realize the following;
God is not a stereo type God in everything He does. His method of healing the same diseases in different people may vary. His approach should not be restricted as many are trying to do today. Above it all a mandate for greater work has been given. Check Exodus 4:2-9, 7: 19-21, 8: 16-18; 9: 8-11; 2nd Kings 2:19-22; 2nd Kings 5:1-10: 14: John 5:2-9; 9:1-7, Mark 5:1-13 Matthew 7:31-35, 2nd Kings 5:1-14.
(3). Partnership With God For Enduring Results: God today is leaving himself with a witness. There is miracle and He has promised us that. You must not give up until the signs follow you. Moses obeyed God and He was used. We should in our time obey God, pay the price and the promise will be ours. Let us pray like apostles. Read the following scriptures as reference; John 9. 4-5, Mark 16. 15-20, Acts 1:8; John 14:12, Acts 4: 28-29.
