Shia LaBeouf's Latest Script: Rehab and Anger Management, AgainsteemCreated with Sketch.

Right then, Shia LaBeouf again, eh? You hear about some people, and you just think, 'Oh, for fuck's sake.' Another day, another bit of news about him having a run-in with the law. This time, it’s all tied up with something that went down during Mardi Gras in New Orleans earlier this year. Apparently, he had a bit of a scrape, an altercation, as they call it. And now, he's been told what he needs to do to sort himself out. It’s not exactly shocking, is it? 😑

So, the long and short of it is, he's reached some sort of agreement in court. Rather than dragging it all through the mud, he's accepted a probation deal. Part of this deal, and honestly, this is where you just nod along, is that he's got to complete a programme for anger management. Because, you know, being an actor means you're never really angry... right? And also, he's got to go to rehab. It’s all a bit predictable, isn't it? Like watching a rerun of an old TV show you've seen a hundred times.

It makes you wonder, doesn't it? How many times can one person be in these sorts of situations before something actually sticks? He's been ordered to rehab and anger management before, or at least similar sorts of things. It’s not like this is his first rodeo with, shall we say, personal issues spilling out into the public domain. It’s a recurring theme, a pattern of behaviour that frankly, most of us normal blokes would have had the book thrown at us for ages ago. 🙄

You can't help but feel a bit sorry for the chap in a way, constantly being under the microscope. But then again, you think, maybe just don't punch people or get into scraps when you know full well everyone's watching? It's not rocket science, is it? The whole Mardi Gras thing, well, it's a party, sure, but there's a limit to how much 'party' one can engage in before it becomes a proper bother for everyone else involved. And for the courts, apparently.

So now he’s off to sort his head out, again. Good for him, I suppose. You hope it actually works this time, that it’s not just another tick-box exercise to get the legal types off his back for a bit. Because, let’s be honest, we’ve seen this script play out before. It’s a bit tiresome for everyone involved, not least the poor sods who have to deal with the aftermath. 😭

It's not about being judgmental, really, it's just observing a pattern. People make mistakes, absolutely, we all do. But when the same mistakes keep happening, and the same solutions are trotted out, you do start to think, 'Is anyone actually learning anything here?' For his sake, and everyone else's, let's hope this lot of rehab and anger management sticks. Otherwise, we’ll probably just be here again in a year or two, reading the same bloody headlines. What a tiresome cycle.

All in all, it’s a standard celebrity cautionary tale, isn't it? A bit of a shame, really. Anyway, moving on. There's probably someone else somewhere doing something equally daft. 👉
